Sambalpur: Laida Girls Higher Primary School is running under one teacher
Laida: Rengali Block Leyda Girls Higher Primary School currently has only one teacher. There are allegations that education is being disrupted. This school was established 50 years before today with the efforts of public leader of Laida region, educationist Bhaswar Naik and other education lovers. The government provided two teachers with full scholarships and all the facilities of the government. But no one was coming to this school and no one was going to another school. In such a situation, the head teacher Lakshmi Patel retired on the 31st, so now there is only one teacher. There are a total of 43 students in the 6th and 7th classes. It is not possible for a single teacher to teach two classes. In addition, office work is also going on. Therefore, the child’s education is hindered. It is not a government school as the Rengali block education officer was asked in this regard. So he said that no other teacher can be given in this school. The students have demanded deputation of two teachers to the District Magistrate through Rengali Zone II District Councilor Deonarayan Tiwari.
