Sambalpur: Large-scale reshuffle of inspectors in the districts under the Northern Police Range

Sambalpur: There has been a large-scale reshuffle of inspectors in the districts under the Northern Police Range. 18 inspectors of Sambalpur district have been transferred to other districts at once. Similarly, 11 inspectors of Balangir district, 10 inspectors of Jharsuguda district, 11 inspectors of Bargarh district, 6 inspectors of Subarnapur district have been transferred to other districts.

Due to the recent violence in Sambalpur and the failure of the police to control it, the government first changed the SP, but now most of the police officers in the district have been sent to other districts. The inspectors transferred from Sambalpur district to Balangir are Basant Dalei, Anita Pradhan, Jyotsnarani Behera, Jajinseni Naik, Vidhubushan Mishra, Rajkumar Viswal, and Anita Patnia. Similarly, Rajeshwari Bhoi, Loknath Sahu, Yogeshwar Panda and Shovakar Seth will go to Subarnapur district. The officers transferred from Sambalpur to Bargarh district are Jayarashmi Sethi, Prashant Samal, Mamata Naik, Vibhuthi Bhushan Dalei and Premjit Das. Besides, Surubabu Chhatriya and Prakash Karn have been transferred to Jharsuguda district.
