Sambalpur: Law department to decide on permanent bench in Sambalpur High Court said Devi Mishra
Senior BJD leader Devi Mishra has responded to opposition leader Jai Narayan Mishra’s allegations regarding the ongoing agitation for a permanent bench of the High Court in Sambalpur. BJD Vice President said, what they are saying is absurd. It is absurd to blame the government for the failure. There are instructions on how to comply with the directions of the Supreme Court. Don’t play the blame game. It is not right to blame the government, look at your face in the mirror. It is worth noting that opposition leader Jai Narayan Mishra has responded to the ongoing agitation for the permanent bench of the High Court in Sambalpur. He said, I support the movement. I am part of the movement.
He added, the movement will intensify in the coming days. Odisha government is responsible for all these problems. The Union Law Minister said in the Parliament, Odisha government has not made any concrete proposal. The state government is doing the policy of laziness. The state government is not sincere. Why is the government not bringing a statutory proposal? The state government wants to play. The state government is indifferent towards Western Odisha. The state government is ignoring the problems of the people of West Odisha.
Everyone has the right to protest in a democratic manner. The government says that justice will be done at the doorstep. Other states have high court benches, so why not in Odisha. If there is a bench, the burden on the High Court will be reduced. Opposition leader Jai Narayan Mishra said that the central government will take action once the state government informs about the location.
