Sambalpur: Looted gold and money by fearing his son’s life
Asked the woman to walk 51 steps, burglars robbed and fled
“At first they pretended to believe them. There is turmoil in the family, there is a financial crisis, and the life of the young child is in danger. If there is no remedy, there will be great danger to the family. I have the remedy. If I do something with the blessings of Maa Durga, all the sorrows will be removed.” A man told a woman that the family would be filled with happiness and peace.
Repetition of the Dhenkanal incident in Sambalpur
Such a robbery happened innovatively during the day, on the main road near Jagannath Colony, a crowded city of Sambalpur. A retired teacher from Sahojag Nagar has been robbed. Incidentally, the retired teacher was returning home after buying vegetables at around 10.00 am. A 40-45-year-old man was stopped at Jagannath Colony Street and asked for the doctor’s address. The woman said she did not know the address. Later, the person treats the woman very well, your family has money but there are other problems he said. He said that to fix it, it has to be remedied. To believe the woman, he called another person who was passing by on the road. He was frightened similarly by the name of God to another person. Then he asked them to bring Kapur. Kapur was not found as the shop was closed. Then he said that there is another solution. Told them to walk 51 steps while chanting Ram’s name and God Hanuman would appear there. Another associate who was with him said that he got the darshan of God Hanuman by walking 51 steps. Then the woman was also asked to walk 51 steps. The woman asked to be stuffed inside the worn gold ornaments, earrings, and chain in the purse.
With faith and fear, the woman walked 51 steps forward, giving the gold jewellery in her purse to the man. After walking 51 steps she looked back as two crooks took gold jewelry, 2,500 rupees, and an ATM card. It has been repeated in Sambalpur. On receipt of the complaint, the Ainthapali police have started an investigation. CCTV has been checked at the scene. People should be aware of cheating in the name of God and Goddess.
