Sambalpur: Maa Samaleshwari Temple’s Schedule for lunar eclipse (ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଗ୍ରହଣ)

Sambalpur: In view of the Lunar eclipse at the shrine of Mother Samaleswari on the occasion of Kumar Purnima on October 28, a joint meeting between the temple trust board and the temple worshipers has decided that the morning schedule and Mangal Aarti will be held at 5 am.

General darshan is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Public darshan will be closed from 11:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. At this time Maa Samaleswari will be given Annabhog. Maa Sringar and Rajarajeshwari Besha, the new Dhwaja-hoisting ceremony, and the lightning lamp were also held at the temple. Devotees can see Mother Samaleswari in her Rajarajeshwari Besha from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM.

Sanjay Babu, president of the Samaleswari Temple Trust Board, informed that the temple will remain closed for the lunar eclipse after 3:15 PM. Ranjita festival with Dussehra Puja was held yesterday on Vijayadashami day.
