Sambalpur: Madhurima Panigrahi has won the honor of sitting on the hot seat of Superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’
Sambalpur: Amitabh Bachchan welcomed Madhurima as the first contestant of the week on Kaun Banega Crorepati. Madhurima, the wife of Hemant Panigarahi, a resident of Nandapada, Sambalpur, is a teacher in a government high school. She won 6 lakh 40 thousand rupees by answering 11 questions correctly. If she answered question number 12, she won 12.5 lakh rupees but she chose the option of quitting from the competition. After quitting the competition, she was asked to guess the answer and the answer she gave was correct.
Madhurima, who is sitting in the Hot seat, won 40,000 rupees out of 1,00,000 by answering 4 out of 10 questions correctly in the “Super Sandook” program. In total, she has won 6 lakh 80 thousand rupees.
She took a total of 3 lifelines in this competition. In the ‘Phone-a-Friend’ lifeline, she called Dr. Parash Pujari, a senior scientist in ‘Niri’, his relative brother-in-law and he gave the correct answer. It is worth noting that Madhurima is the third woman from Sambalpur who has gone to the hot seat of KBC.
Madhurima shared a story from her past about her financial struggles and the pressure of dowry. She talked about how her parents supported her education and how important a small amount of money was for her family. Bachchan expressed his disapproval of the practice of dowry and praised Madhurima for her positive attitude despite the hardships she faced.
