Sambalpur: Marriage Ceremony in Dhankauda’s Child Care Institution, Pramod holds Orphan Pooja’s hand
Sambalpur: Pooja Debnath, an orphan of Dhankuada’s Child Care Institution, got married on Thursday. Pooja is engaged to Pramod Panda, the youngest son of Parvati Panda and Abhimanyu Panda, a resident of Barpali in Bargarh district. The marriage was solemnized with the consent of the bride, groom and both parties.
Under the Biju Child Protection Scheme, the district administration provided a marriage assistance amount of Rs. 50,000. Marriage completes in Hindu rituals. On behalf of daughter’s mother, the District Child Security Officer Gitanjali Mahapatra do the Kanyadan during the wedding ceremony.
