Sambalpur: Mass Murder in Sambalpur: Dead bodies of mother, 2 children found in closed house
Sambalpur: A gruesome murder has taken place in Sunapali area of Sambalpur Dhanupali police station. The brutal killing of a widow and her two children has created chaos in the city. The killer locked the three bodies in the bedroom and absconded. The deceased were Sajia Parbeen (32 years old) and her daughter Humaira Taiba (7 years old) and son Abdul Rehman (9 years old). The incident came to light about 4/5 days after the murder. The police have sealed the said house and started investigation.
According to the information received from the police sources, the husband of Sajia Parveen, who lives in Sunapali, Sambalpur, died less than a year ago. Sajia lived alone with her two children after the death of her husband who was a herbalist. While they were living upstairs, they rented a house to a young man named Salman Ahmed (35 years old) downstairs. While Salman Ahmed is a native of Uttar Pradesh, his family is said to have been living in Bhavanipatna for the past few years. Salman is running a house sealing business in Sambalpur with some workers. Sajia’s birthplace is Chakradharpur area. Salman Ahmed even went to Chakradharpur to drop off Sazia and her daughter during the curfew in Sambalpur. Salman Ahmed returned after staying there for two days. After the situation in Sambalpur became normal, Sajia returned to Sambalpur with her daughter in about 10/15 days. Her mother called Sajiya less than 4/5 days ago. But Sajia did not pick up the call. Later the mobile phone was switched off. Due to suspicion, her mother and brother reached Sambalpur on Saturday afternoon. The house was locked. However, they were worried because of the smell coming from inside the house. After informing the public, he informed the police. On Saturday evening, the Dhanupali police reached the spot and after breaking the lock, three bodies were found. After killing everyone, the bodies were completely covered with bedsheets and blankets.
Local people said that Salman Ahmed has not been seen for the past few days. Additional SP Autko Kujur, Sadar SDPO Pradeep Sahu, Dhanupali police station Anita Pradhan, scientific team reached the spot and conducted investigation. As the night has passed, Sunday will be the autopsy of the bodies. The police said that how the murder was done will be more clear after post-mortem. Since Salman Ahmad is fled away, the police suspect that he is involved in the murder.
