Sambalpur: Minor Violent and brutal Act, Killed the youth with stone for Bluetooth Speaker
Burla: A brutal murder took place late on Saturday night in Dhudiapada area of Amsada Katapali village under Burla police station. A young man, Vinod Oram (22) of Dhudiapada area, was killed by a minor’s stone pelting. The police have seized the body and detained the minor accused in the incident and are interrogating them.
According to the information received, late on Saturday night, deceased Vinod was lying on the floor of an under-construction building and listening to Blue Tooth Speaker. At this time, this minor youth, who had come back to his maternal’s house from outside, was sitting next to Vinod. After some time, Vinod fell asleep thinking that the minor had tried to take away the bluetooth. But as he could not take away the speaker from Vinod even in his sleep, the minor brought a big stone and repeatedly hit him. As a result, Vinod died on the spot. Hearing the noise, the owner of a building under construction thought who had come to steal what, and when he reached there, he saw the dead body and screamed.
The neighbors heard the screams and informed the police. Vinod’s head, back and chest were seriously injured. Later, the police arrested the minor and detained him in the police station. The police said that after checking the minor’s birth certificate, the court will proceed tomorrow. On Sunday morning, a scientific team and a search dog reached the spot and conducted blood samples, fingerprints and various other aspects. After the autopsy, the dead body has been handed over to the family members. However, it has been informed from police sources that the minor committed the murder in an intoxicated state.
