The attack is believed to be the result of a long-running conflict between the Das family, who were the victims, and Suraj’s family over a small plot of land in front of their home. The incident caused fear in the Danipali area, with residents initially hesitant to leave their homes. Although people have gradually begun to venture outside, fear persists. Residents have requested increased patrolling by Ainthapali police to ensure their safety.
