Sambalpur: Newborn Baby Girl Rescued from Borewell Incident, Identity of Biological mother of ‘Bijayeeni’ has been found
Sambalpur: The mother of the newborn baby girl who was rescued from the borewell in Laripali under the Rengali police station of Sambalpur district has been identified. Sambalpur SP Mukesh Bhamu gave this information to the media. The baby girl’s mother is a day laborer and lives in the local area. Three days after the baby girl was rescued, the police identified the woman concerned. She was brought to the police station and interrogated. During interrogation, she admitted her mistake. But as the woman’s mental condition was not good, she was sent to Cuttack General Hospital for treatment. After the woman recovers, the investigation can proceed.
SP Mr. Bhamu said the treatment of the girl rescued from the borewell is continuing in Vimsar. Yesterday was the baby girl’s 21-day Function. On this occasion, she was named ‘Bijayeeni’.
It is worth noting that on the afternoon of December 12, some people from the neighborhood went to Sriram Budha forest in Laripali. There they heard the cries of a newborn baby inside an abandoned tube well. They informed the local villagers about this. This information was later given to the police and fire brigade. The fire brigade, police, and rescue teams reached the spot after receiving the information. In the night, the newborn was safely rescued from about 20 feet after a tireless effort of the fire brigade, police, and rescue team for about 7 hours. After that, the health of the child was checked and the newborn baby girl was taken to the hospital in an ambulance under the leadership of the medical team.
