Sambalpur: NKK Prasad has taken charge as the new Commandant of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 12th Battalion, Sambalpur. Accepting the responsibility, he said that various social welfare works are being taken up after contacting the people living in the Naxal affected areas.

For this, people are being provided from daily necessities to clothing. Previously, there is Naxal movement in many districts of state. Thanks to the continuous efforts of the CRPF and the cooperation of the local police, the situation is now normal in many districts. Now some companies of Battalion-12 are monitoring the movement of Naxals. He said that the Great Ocean of Bargarh and Balangir has been specially monitored. Shri Prasad was born in 1976 in West Champaran of Bihar. In 2000, he was directly appointed to CRPF. His experience of working in NDRF for 7 years. He has been honored with the Director General’s Deacon and Medal for his effective leadership commitment and dedication.
