Sambalpur: Odia lawyer Sandeep Mohapatra became Rajya Sabha’s advocate
Sambalpur: Supreme Court’s odia lawyer Sandeep Mohapatra has been selected as Rajya Sabha advocate. Mr. Mohapatra will handle civil and other cases related to the Rajya Sabha in the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court and other lower courts. The general secretary of the Rajya Sabha has appointed him for a year. Mr. Mahapatra, a resident of Nuapada, graduated from Sambalpur GM College in 1994. Later, he completed his higher education from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. He did his MA, MPhil in International Affairs from JNU. He was the President of JNU Student Parliament in 2000. He then started his career as a lawyer in the Supreme Court. Earlier the President of India appointed Mr. Mohapatra as a member of the JNU Governing Body (JNU Court).
