Sambalpur: OPD ticketing was the biggest problem for patients, now VIMSAR to start online ticketing for OPDs

Burla: Out-door ticket system was the biggest problem for patients in Vimsar. Patients had to wait in long queues for tickets. Vimsar authorities have taken this issue seriously. Outdoor ticketing has been decided to be done online or through e-ticketing. The responsibility of this online ticket system is to be given to a private company, meanwhile, the tender process has also been completed. Vimsar Superintendent Professor Lalmohan Naik informed that it will be managed by C-DAC (Center for Development of Advanced Computing). Along with the installation of new computers in all departments of the OPD, many ‘software modules’ will also be installed. Necessary steps are being taken for this. Professor Naik informed that the e-ticket system will be started for the patients and their families as soon as possible.
