Sambalpur: Painting Stolen from the Lok Mahotsav, Artist at the District Magistrate’s door

Sambalpur: An art gallery was opened during the Sambalpur Lok Mahotsav. The gallery housed paintings by many artists. Seven paintings were stolen from that gallery. As the Lok Mahotsav ended on Saturday, the artists went to the PHD ground in Ainthapali at 10 am on Sunday. But there were 7 high-quality paintings stolen by someone. Out of the stolen paintings, 6 of them belong to Bandana Art Corner, while one painting belongs to Ankan School. Due to this, Bandana Panda along with Shishir Kara, Sujata Behera and other artists visited Sambalpur District Magistrate Ananya Das on Tuesday. On the advice of the District Collector, the artists have written a complaint at the Ainthapali police station. The police have registered a case and started investigating the incident
