Sambalpur: Pallishree Mela ended, Goods worth Rs. 49 lakhs were sold
Sambalpur: The Pallishree Mela, which started on the 11th of Jan, was end in the PhD campus. District Council Chief Development and Executive Officer Dilip Kumar Bal was the chief guest and announced the closing ceremony of the fair. The district administration informed that a total of 49 lakh 33 thousand 378 rupees of business was done through this Mela between 11th and 16th. A total of 170 stalls were established in the fair. A total of 145 SHG members from 29 districts and other departments also staged in this Mela. On this occasion, for the sale of goods they were also awarded the first, second and third place. On the occasion of closing ceremony, Additional District Collector Ajambar Mohanty, Metropolitan Corporation Commissioner Pradeep Sahu, Ormas Deputy CEO Shrimant Hota, Deputy Collector and Additional Officer Sarath Kumar Bagh, Mission Shakti’s Niranjan Panda, Vikas Mohanty were prominently present.
