Sambalpur: Playing with children’s future, Sambalpur University question paper leak, exam postponed
Sambalpur: The question paper was leaked yesterday but Sambalpur University authorities denied the allegations. The exam was postponed today after a question paper of +3 Education subject went viral. A three-member committee has also been set up to look into the matter. However, university authorities have been accused of playing with students’ futures. Students are dissatisfied with the university’s policies.
On Wednesday, there was a exam of +3 6th semester Physics Honors electro-magnetic paper. The paper went viral before the test. Sambalpur University authorities avoided calling it a rumor. However, the Sambalpur University Examination Controller was informed that the education question paper had been leaked at 9:43 am today. The viral question came to him from a source, he immediately referred the matter to the Confidentiality Department of the University. The department reviewed the viral question and today’s test question. After learning that both question papers are the same, the test controller was immediately notified. As a result, at 10:01 a.m., the Controller of Examinations informed all 205 colleges under the University and ordered the cancellation of the examination. As a result, students were excluded from today’s exams. However, many good students are frustrated by the leak of question papers.
In connection with the leak of the question paper, the University Controller of Examinations, Dr. Rabindra Panigrahi, said, The question appears to have been leaked early in the manuscript label. The responsibility for making the questions is delegated to a senior professor by the university. A senior professor also wrote a question on the subject today. He has already authored questions for the university several times.
Unfortunately, the inquiry revealed that the question paper was leaked from there. Immediately after receiving the news, he informed the Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sanjeev Mittal. The Chancellor, Prof. Mittal, has set up a three-member inquiry committee and directed that the investigation report be submitted as soon as possible.
If the professor who created the question was involved in this, it has been decided that he will not be allowed to make any further questions in the future and to take stern action against him. We are sorry that the students did not take the exam today. If the leaked questionnaire was received three hours before the test, the test could have been completed by providing a questionnaire prepared on the back-up plan. However, the information was received only 15 minutes before the test time. However, students do not need to worry. The test will be held in the next 3/4 days, What other questions have been leaked?
That, too, will be part of the investigation. However, there will be no delay in publishing student test results, Prof. Mittal said.
