Sambalpur: Police get succeed in cyber fraud case, Mr. Saroj Das got his money back

Sambalpur: Mr. Saroj Das(47) of Anuguliapada area under Ainthapali police station, was the victim of a Rs 2 lakh cyber scam on August 7. He was deceived by searching online to get loan. After filing a complaint with the Ainthapali police station, the police filed a case and launched an investigation into the incident. The Sambalpur police were successful in the case. Aithapali police arrested three people from the Jamra gang, who lived in Bhubaneswar and spread nets for fraud across the country and took them to court. Police also seized Rs 1,13,200.

Ainthapalli police chief Jogesh Panda returned the money to Saroj Das on Wednesday. Saroj after receiving the money said he was happy for the police to take immediate action . Mr.Panda, on the other hand, informed that the financial evidence investigation is now underway with the collection of technical evidence. How many more have the gang cheated and who else is involved in this gang said police were investigating.
