Sambalpur Police is in action mode, 2 native guns seized, 3 culprits arrested
Sambalpur: Criminals running a crime empire with guns on target. Sambalpur Police is identifying and arresting the professional. While 6 people were arrested earlier, 3 people from the Dhanupali area have been arrested today. The accused are Mohammad Javed Akhtar, Anwar Ali Khan, and Nasir Ahmed. 2 native guns and 5 rounds of bullets have been seized from them. Sambalpur SP Mukesh Bhamu informed the press conference.

The 3 arrested accused are from the Sunapali area. Nasir Ahmed is a professional criminal. There are already 5 cases against him. Similarly, Anwar Alli Khan was arrested earlier in a kidnapping case. Today, another case has been registered in Dhanupali police station against 3 people. A bike and a mobile phone have been seized from them The bike is in the name of Omprakash Majhi of Tampurgarh, Jujumura block, Sambalpur district. The SP informed that the investigation is going on.
Earlier last month, the police arrested 6 people who had guns. 8 guns, 22 live bullets, swords, and a large amount of money were seized from them. After joining the new SP Mukesh Bhamu in Sambalpur, criminals who carry guns are being targeted. Guns are being smuggled from Bihar and Jharkhand. Especially the SP said the gun coming from Bihar Munger to Sambalpur. The arrested accused was doing business by bringing guns from outer states and committing crimes himself. But while criminals are being targeted, there are many big culprits involved in the gun trade. Some politicians from Burla, Sambalpur, Hirakud and Rengali regions are the masterminds of this trade. It is said that the police did not dare to touch them. Therefore, action has been taken against them.
