On Monday after Mahalaya Tithi, the hundi on the premises of Sambalpur’s Goddess Maa Samaleswari was opened and the money collected was being counted, while in the presence of the media representatives, some of the letters that came out of it created a lot of enthusiasm. In another letter, a mother wrote to Samlei asking her daughter to pass NEET (National Medical Entrance Test). Similarly, some other letters were written in Bengali, Odia, Hindi and other languages and put into the hundi. Sanjay Babu, president of Maa Samaleswari Temple Trust Board, informed that a total of Rs 4 lakh 59 thousand 809 rupees were counted from the hundi.
