Sambalpur: Preparation started for Sambalpuri Day, a preparatory meeting was held

Sambalpur: Guru Satya Narayan Bohidar’s birthday is being celebrated as Sambalpuri Day. In Hirakud city also, the Hirakud festival committee has started preparations to celebrate Sambalpuri Day with great show & on August 1 this year. In this regard, a preparatory meeting was held on Sunday at the senior citizens’ building.

In the meeting, the advisor of the organizing committee, Usatram Sahu, Ajay Mohanty, Ramakant Pujari, Ashok Panda, Shankar Mishra, and Yogesh’s Pradhan were present and expressed their views on how to organize the program. In the meeting held under the chairmanship of the president of the Hirakud Festival Committee Ratnakar Raut, acting president Sammanchal Khatai, general editor Santanu Badapanda, organization editor Pradeep Panda, treasurer Anup Mahant, cultural editor Ranjan Hota, Shrimant Behera, Sukant Maharana, Amar Gaud were prominently present. Bhavani Bhoi, host of Western Ekta Mancha, was present and expressed his views on Sambalwari Day, which has been organized for the last 10 years.
