Sambalpur: Preparations Underway for Sambalpur Sital Sasthi 2024; Organizational Meeting Held in Jhaduapada
Sambalpur: A meeting was held at the office in Jhaduapada regarding the organization and preparation for the upcoming Sambalpur Sital Sasthi 2024. During this meeting, various key positions and responsibilities were assigned for the 2024 festival.
Sunil Kumar Dash of Mudipada was unanimously named President of the 2024 event. Prashant Kumar Barei from Nandpada was appointed as Vice President, and Sanjaya Kumar Mishra from Jharduapada as Editor.
As in previous years, Amulya Kumar Mishra will serve as Acting President, responsible for the festival’s general coordination and management.
The executive committee was constituted, with representation from several areas. Jhaduapada, Abhishek Mishra, Shubhendu Mishra, and Satyajit Panda were all included. Prabhudatta Panda represented Nandapad, and Manoj Mahapatra, Balgopal Nanda, Sudhir Kumar Panda, Suresh Das, and Bhola Mahattam were selected from Mudipada.
Several additional people, including Saroj Dalpat, Sushant Purohit, Partha Sarathi Mishra, Phanibhushan Mishra, Sameer Ranjan Babu, Milu Panigrahi, Babulu Purohit, and Prabin Dixit Major, attended the meeting to discuss the planning process.
The Sital Sasthi Festival is a big event in Sambalpur, and this meeting attempted to ensure its success by assigning key roles and responsibilities to dedicated persons from various areas.
