Sambalpur: Prisoner Sanjeev Kishan, who escaped from Sambalpur Circle Jail, was recaptured
Sambalpur: Sanjeev Kishan, who escaped from Sambalpur Mandal jail, was arrested by the Dhanupali police six days later. Sanjeev was waiting for the train near the city station to leave the state. Sadar SDPO Pradeep Sahu informed in a press conference on Thursday that the police team raided the City station on Wednesday night and arrested Sanjeev after receiving information from reliable sources.
Jail Superintendent Anil Sahu gave notice at Dhanupali police station after Sanjeev, a prisoner who was detained in jail for the crime of juvenile delinquency escaped from jail. Under the leadership of Dhanupali police officer Ranjan Vishwal, a special team consisting of SI T.B. Khatua, and ASI Jugal Seth was formed to arrest Sanjeev.
The accused was arraigned on Thursday. Police seized a mobile phone and a diary from him. It is worth noting that Sanjeev escaped from jail on the 30th evening. Jail Chief Warder Pramod Budek and Warder Sanjay Dungdung were suspended for negligence in the incident.
Fear Due to misdemeanor punishment
Sanjeev of Mehulpali police station, Ulunda, Sambalpur district, was detained in the jail as a prisoner in a case of juvenile delinquency. On the 30th, another juvenile delinquent was fined in court and sentenced to 20 years in prison. After hearing this news, Sanjeev panicked and planned to escape. As Sanjeev helped in the kitchen, he had the complete picture of the kitchen in his head. On the evening of the 30th, when the prisoners entered the cell, Sanjeev cautiously went to the toilet and jumped over the partition to go to the kitchen.
He climbed upstairs through an iron ladder. From there, he managed to climb the big wall and escape. After he escaped, he tried to move out of the state. However, he ran out of money and returned to the village and was caught while trying to collect the money and ran away again.
