Sambalpur: Protest for High Court Bench from 7th to 12th, lawyer’s non-cooperation will continue on Wednesday
Sambalpur: The Protest of the Sambalpur District Bars’ Association will continue in the coming days to demand a permanent bench of the High Court in Western Odisha. However, the Bar Association has changed its strategy. In view of the Satyagraha program to be held on the 12th, it has been decided in the General Council meeting of the District Bar’s Association held today to change such strategy. From Wednesday 7th to 12th, in front of the circuit judge building from 9 am to 6 pm, the movement will be held to demand that the state government send the full proposal to the central government for setting up a permanent bench of the High Court in Sambalpur. However, lawyers will wear black badges on Wednesday. Judges will not be allowed to go to court. However, on that day, the lawyers will not cooperate with the court work and the government office will be closed. On the contrary, picketing will be done on the occasion of Satyagraha on 12th. All the offices of the state government will also be closed on that day. On the contrary, it is from reliable sources that preparations are being made by the State Lawyers’ Association to further expand the lawyer’s movement.
