Sambalpur: Protester advocates of Sambalpur Bar Association are suspended for shouting slogans, burning effigies of judges
Sambalpur: Agitating advocates of Sambalpur District Bar Association for shouting slogans, burning effigies of judges and State Bar Council and Bar Council of India (BMI) functionaries, vandalizing computers in the courtroom and property inside and outside the court, assaulting police personnel, etc.
The lawyers has been suspended with immediate effect for 18 months and the licenses of all members of the Sambalpur Association have been suspended until further orders.
The protesters who were suspended for 18 months are Sureshwar Mishra, Shiv Dewan, Pramod Saraf Satyanarayan Purohit, Srikanth Panigarahi, Himanshu Panigarahi, Mahendra Badhei, Anup Tarei, Silu Mahapatra, Satyanarayan Panda, Praveen Singhdeo, Ravi Pujari, Suraj Bishwal, Chandrakant Mohanty Naveen Sathpathy, Saroj Sahu, Manoranjan Das, Manas Mishra, Sameer Mohapatra, Bandita Mishra, Rajeev Sathpathy, Basant Mishra, Minketan Bhoi, Ratan Agarwal, Bijetendra Pradhan, Surajini Barik, Pradeep Bohidar, Babul Panda and Manoranjan Panda.
