Sambalpur: Proud News; Two Female Wrestlers from Sambalpur Ready to Shine at National Tournament
Sambalpur: Two wrestlers from the Shaolin Kungfu Wushu Association in Sambalpur Kacheri have traveled to Noida, Uttar Pradesh, today to participate in the National Wrestling Tournament. Tamanna, daughter of Deepak Gope and Shanti Gope, and Preeti, daughter of Uddhav Mirdha and Anjana, both hailing from Sambalpur city, have been chosen to represent their city in this prestigious national-level wrestling competition. Their wrestling instructor Sameer Biswal, who has prepared them for this competition, is going with them. It was coach Pushpanjali Sahu who provided training for these gifted wrestlers.
During their departure today, they were given warm wishes by various members of the association, including editor Subash Chandra Behera and state editor Kishor Behera, as well as trainers Sonus Prasad Sonar, Priyanka Mittal, Gayatri Mishra, Dibyalakshmi Majhi, Damodar Karmi, Shanti Devi Gope, Arun Kumar Azadiwal, Swagat Kumar Ghadai, and Subrat Panda, and Ramdas Panda. Additionally, the Head of Rotary Public School Bargarh Gajendra Narayan Mishra, and Chairman Govind Das, along with sports coach Birendra Satpati and Sambalpur District Wrestling Club editor Rabi Patnaik, have extended their support.
Manisha Samal, the coach of the Indian wrestling team, would also be there to support and encourage the competitors during the competition.
