Sambalpur: Public Decision for land acquisition for Samlei Scheme

Sambalpur: Samlei Scheme land acquisition continues. Decision have been held at RCDR Conference Hall on Wednesday for 5T domestic land (thirty decimals) for land acquisition. SMC Commissioner Pradeep Sahu, Tehsildar Laxman Amat, Land Acquisition Officer Aditya Panda were present on the occasion along with Additional Collector Umakant Raj.

The public of that area was present with the owners of the land to be acquired and gave their opinion. According to the Land Acquisition Act, an agency was hired by the administration and the survey was carried out.

According to the survey, they reached the public. According to the acquisition rules, the census was conducted on Wednesday and everyone’s opinion was taken on the survey, said the Additional District Collector. Then, during the Decision, residents of that area expressed their anger about eviction in Ghunghutipada.

While the case is pending in the High Court, the residents pleaded not to move the house until it is settled.
