Sambalpur: Public dissatisfaction over collection of electricity bill arrears

There has been widespread outrage in the Badbazar area of ​​Sambalpur over the collection of electricity bills by TPWODL. In this matter a public meeting was held at the Radhamadhav temple premises in Badbazar. A meeting chaired by Jayaram Bania against the collection of arrears of electricity bills. It was decided not to pay the arrears. It also demanded that consumers change faulty meters, pay correct bills, amend bills as required, and provide uninterrupted electricity service. The meeting decided not to cut off electricity bills due to arrears. Officials at the TPWODL, who were present at the meeting, were briefed on the decision. The officers present listened to the decision he promised to inform the authorities. The meeting was attended by Khetrajpur police officer Mamata Naik, power company sub-district officer Prabhas Kumar Sahu, Bhagyavan Pandey, Chhedilal Agrawal, Durga Ghens, Manoj Palsania, Rajinikanth Meher, Bhim Sahu and Anil Suna.
