Sambalpur: Relationships are not only in blood, but in humanity
In today’s hectic society, almost no one cares about people. People who don’t just look at blood, think of human relationships as a bond. A blazing example of this can be seen in the city of Sambalpur. Sagar Dandasena and Vrindavati Dandasena are residents of Khetrajpur. Sagar is disabled but has never blamed his fate, earning a living on her own and running a family. Not only that, Sagar and his wife Vrindavati also extend a helping hand to the needy in terms of income.
A woman named Uma comes to Sagar’s house every day to beg. Sagar and Vrindavati have not been angry with her for a single day. Within a few days, Uma had become like Sagar’s family. Sagar called her mother. Everything was fine. When Sagar realized, that she was no longer coming to beg, but Sagar and Vrindavati did not understand. Uma was searched throughout the city. After a long six months, one day suddenly she saw Sagar sitting on the ground of a shop. She told Sagar that she could not come because of abdominal pain. Sagar and Vrindavati’s mother Nupur Rao then took Uma to Burla Vimsar for a medical examination. Upon examination, Uma was found to be suffering from cancer. Dr. Prashant Prusti extended a helping hand. All the expenses of her medicine, including surgery, were borne by Dr. Prashant Prusti . After a month and a half of treatment, Uma recovered. After her recovery, she was placed in the ashram from Hirakud Kalptaru under the supervision of Chaitanya Nayak.
