Sambalpur: Roads are occupied by the Cows and cattle herds, Accidents are increasing, Administration is knowingly unaware

Sambalpur: There is a huge herd of cows and cattle on the road. It has been going on for months and months, not just a day or two. As the number of cattle increases, so does the number of accidents. The surprising thing is that the administration is aware of everything, but no action is being taken by the administration. There is a strong reaction from the general public and the intelligentsia. The situation is such that there is no such road in Sambalpur that is not occupied by cattle. The number on the road is increasing day by day. Not only the public is injured due to the accident, but cows are also injured and killed. Social activist and BJP leader Surya Panigarahi said that it is unfortunate that the cow owner left them on the road instead of taking them. Action should be taken against the owners of the cow concerned.

In the past, the city administration used to take cows and cattle on the road and keep them under their control. Many times they were also accommodated in Goshala. Mr. Panigarahi stated that the problem is increasing due to its closure. Even though the problem of Street cows and cattle has escalated to such an extent, it is unfortunate that the district administration and the authorities of the Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation have remained silent. There is a general demand to take immediate action against this.
