Sambalpur: Robbery in broad daylight, Beaten and robbed of gold chain
Sambalpur: Lootera attack again in Sambalpur city. Robbers beat and snatched the gold chain of old man of Matru Nivasi, Town Police Station. When Public gathered after the old man screamed, the robbers leave their scooty and ran away. The robbed Gold chain worth 15 gram. After Rameshchandra Panda filed a written complaint to the police. The police launched an investigation.
On the other hand, during the investigation, the main culprit of this incident sent the robbed gold chain to the police through a mediator. In this incident, Police arrested MD Faruq of Daleipada and arraigned him to court tomorrow.
According to the complaint, Sri Panda lived near Kala Parisad. At around half past three, Mr. Panda was going to Saloon. Due to the saloon closed, he went to Pan Shop near Pir Baba Chowk in front of mosque to eat Pan. When he returned to his house from pan shop 2 young men in white scooty (OD 15 E 8676 ) came there and comment him. Then the 2 men follow Sri panda upto Aurobindo School, there they beat Sri Panda and snatched the gold chain from him. After Sri Panda Screamed, local people gather but the 2 culprits leave their scooty and fled away. Sri Panda informed the police about the incident through Phone.
The police launched an investigation and seized the scooty. It was found from the investigation that the robbers are of Daleipada, they give the Gold Chain to the local people and fled away. The seized scooty was of a people live near Dhama. The question arises how the robbers found the scooty.
