Sambalpur: Robbery is in Extreme Level in Burla, Series of Thefts in three places in one day
Burla: The rampage of thieves has reached its peak in Burla city. While the police could not crack the robbery incident in the last week, a series of theft incidents on Wednesday night has disturbed the city’s residents. People have raised questions about the police’s working method towards the thief. The miscreants broke the lock and stole from Bishwa Suna’s house in Gandhi Pada of Burla City at around 11 o’clock. Miscreants broke the Godrej and stole a gold necklace, gold earrings, and took other articles of rupees Rs 25 thousand in cash. The police have started an investigation after Sebati Suna, wife of Bishwa, filed a written complaint at the Burla police station today. However, till the time of writing, it seems that the police could not arrest a single accused in the incident.
Similarly, it is alleged that some crooks stole eight hundred rupees in cash, an ATM card, two pen drives, and many items from Kansla Bagh’s house in the Burla Pathan Bandh area. The police have started an investigation after a written complaint was lodged at the Kansla Burla police station. Even in this case, the police did not find the identity of the thief.
Similarly, yesterday at around 11 o’clock, a man who came to the medical center for some work. Thieves stole the bike from Netaji Street and fled away. A complaint has also been lodged at Burla police station. However, one day, the incident of a series of thefts in the city shocked the people of the city. The residents of Burla have demanded that the police look into this.
