Sambalpur: Rohan Mallik of Maneshwar Block won the Gold Medal in the National Karate Championship Junior Category

Dhama: Rohan Mallik, a class nine student of Balaranga High School, Maneshwar Block, represented Odisha in the National Karate Championship and won the gold medal in the junior category.

He participated in the competition held at Raiganj, Uttar Dinapur, West Bengal on the 20th. Two students from Sambalpur participated with the training of Coach Binayak Hathi. The coach was also awarded as the best coach there. Head Mistress Dipali Chowdhury and other teachers congratulated Rohan on his success.
