Sambalpur: Sabitri Brata at Naribandi Niketan Jail; 8 Inmates Observe Complete Fast

Sambalpur: Sabitri Brata was celebrated on Thursday at Naribandi Niketan in Sambalpur. Like every year, this year too, the inmates of Naribandi Niketan observed the Sabitri Brata following the traditional rituals, wearing new sarees and using fruits and puja items. A total of 19 inmates participated in the brata on Thursday. The Parichaya Anusthan provided new sarees to everyone. Among the 19 inmates, 8 observed a complete fast while performing the Sabitri Brata. Jailor Shobhagini Singh and other staff members were present at the Niketan.
