Sambalpur: Sambal Family’s Noble Deed; Creminates 5 Unclaimed Bodies in 5 Days

Sambalpur: The Burla Medical Fandi wrote a written request to the Sambal family, seeking assistance in recovering three unidentified bodies on 26 Feb 2024, one on 29 Feb 2024, and another on 01 March 2024. Despite keeping the bodies in the freezer for 72 hours, no relatives came forward.

An unidentified body was requested to be cremated by the Sadar police station on 27 Feb 2024, and today the Rengali police station made a similar request. In response, the Sambal family took the body from the mortuary and cremated it respectably at Rajghat near Mandalia.
