Sambalpur: The Lok Mahotsav Committee requested the District Collector to extend the Sambalpur Lok Mahotsav by five days. Notably, the Sambalpur Lok Mahotsav is held annually beginning on January 4th and lasting three days. Various committee members, led by Lok Mahotsav coordinator Bhola Mahattam, met with the District Collector to discuss the upcoming festival.

Committee members who attended the discussion included Manas Ranjan Mishra, Rahul Gupta, Nishikant Biswal, Surya Guru, Shravan Pati, Sukanta Kar, Subrata Panda, and Dambarudhar Pradhan.
