Professor Sanjeev Mittal visited the MCA department and eggs are thrown at him in protest
Sambalpur: After much controversy, Sambalpur University Chancellor Professor Sanjiv Mittal left Jyotvihar on Friday. Even when he left, the controversy did not leave him behind. It is rumored that people who were going on that road protested and even threw eggs. Chancellor Mittal, who was on leave from last 26th, was living in Jyotibihar Campus Guest House. On Friday morning, he participated in a program of the MCA department and inaugurated the digital lab. Then he left from there and went to Delhi by plane from Jharsuguda. After he left, some people reached the MCA department and asked why the chancellor, who was on leave, was called as a guest, shouted and threw eggs on the board in protest.
Even when the chancellor was leaving the university people protested. Similarly, like the last two days, posters have been put up in various places in Sambalpur and Burla demanding the arrest of Mittal.
Earlier there were black and white posters, but today the campus was covered with colored posters. It says ‘Arrest Sanjiv Mittal, the chancellor of Sambalpur University who embezzled Rs 29 lakh’. This poster was found in various places including Sambalpur Kacheri area.
