Sambalpur: Schedule (ଲଗ୍ନ) Launch for Nuakhai, On the 20th, between 10:27 and 10:42 in the morning, Nabanna offered near Maa Samleshwari

Sambalpur: As per the current tradition, the Great Ganaparba Nuakhai Lagna of Western Odisha is scheduled today on Nandotsava Tithi in Brahampura temple premises. On the next Vadrab Sukhlapakhya fifth Wednesday, 20th September, between 10:27 and 10:42, Nabanna is scheduled to be offered to Goddess Maa Samleshwari. According to tradition, Pandits were invited by Brahampura Temple Trust to determine the lagna.

The Lagna was launched by the Panditmandal after worshiping Maha Lord Jagannath. After worshiping Lord Jagannath by the devotees Satasi Pujari, the inauguration was performed by Pandit Rabinarayan Panda, Gopinath Panda, Chidananda Mishra Karasharma, Krishnachandra Manigarahi, Laxman Behera, Chandrakant Panigarahi and after that Saroj Dalpat, Amarnath Supkar, Shubhendu Mishra, Sanjay Mishra, Sitakanth Panigarahi, Pranaranjan Panda, Parthasarathy Mishra, Shubendra Panda Major of Brahampura Temple Trust went to Samleshwari temple and handed over the lagna. Samleshwari temple head worshiper Ambika Rai along with other worshipers and members of the board of trustees were present on the occasion.
