Sambalpur: SDA Fraud is Suppressed, Investigation stopped after the arrest of the SDA planning member Bandita Mohapatra

Sambalpur: Sambalpur Development Authority (SDA) was in discussion all over the state about SDA Plan Fraud, which now seems to be suppressed. On the one hand, it appears that most of the fraud cases are under the SMC rather than the SDA. Then there were incidents like the arrest of SDA planning member and city planner of the metropolitan corporation, Bandita Mahapatra, but since then everyone has remained silent. Since 2019, Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation (SMC) has been providing building planning consultancy in Sambalpur city. Most of the fraud cases have occurred since 2019. But while SDA is involved in fraud, SMC is not brought to the front, nor SMC officials are under investigation. The arrested prisoner, Bandita Mahapatra, is both a member of SDA planning and in charge of city planning of the metropolitan corporation, while there are 3 posts of officers in SDA and SMC. She is the main heroine of the scam but the director and promoter are still in the open. Bandita-Samal Babu duo the superhit fraud mastermind is now silently watching the game. After the arrest of several officers working in the well-known planning approval department, there is a lot of talk about the whereabouts of the accused Babu. Even now, there are rumors that the accused’s old partner has political links. While the case has been registered in multiple police stations, it remains to be seen whether the accused’s former partner will be caught by the police.

For the first time in this fraud case, Laxminarayan Samal alias Bulu (32) of Burla Old SBI Park Line and Steno Sudshanshu Pati (59) of Jharduapada, Ajay Behera (47) of Kaishir, Vikas Jagat (36) of Mahandi vihar, Dambarudhar Tripathi (40) of Kuluthkani were arrested by the police. Then planning member Bandita Mohapatra and Architech Manas Chaini were arrested by the police. While there are rumors that there are many more involved in this case, it is said that the investigation by the police is continuing.
