Sambalpur: Sambalpur Development Authority (SDA) Scam is opening one after another. The list of scams is growing. After the Khetrajpur police station, now it has been filed in Dhanupali, Town, and Ainthapali police stations. The police are still sleeping. Indifference and ignorance on the part of senior officials have been alleged to have led to the obstruction of the investigation. Otherwise, the question arises as to how such a big corruption is not exposed.

His sister Swagatika Das bought a plot in Bohidar Colony on Kainsir Road. She applied for SDA plan permission to build a house there.

SDA employee Laxminarayan Samal told her that it would cost one lakh rupees. So, accordingly contacted a person named Vikas Jagat and paid 92 thousand rupees online. Swagat alleged that the money was given to the accounts of Laxminarayan, Vikas, and Jibankrishna Behera. Even before this, a person complained about SDA fraud in the town police station But in this case, neither interrogation was done nor the accused was brought in remand. It is alleged that the police are sitting quietly without investigating this aspect even though a week has passed since the complaint.

A complainant said that no effort has been made by the police to help people get their money back and get their SDA Plan. So the complainant said that he was frustrated. 5 people were arrested by Khetrajpur police on the 22nd on the charge of money fraud by giving fake house SDA approval certificates.

Around Rs 3.3 crore was found to have been transacted in their accounts. After this incident, there have been many cases in different police stations. However, the police have not remanded the accused and are silent. Questions are being raised about the investigation. Sambalpur SP is not responding to this incident.
