Sambalpur: Second marriage attempt even having first wife, Police picked up the groom from the wedding mandapa
Having first wife still tried to remarry. So Police lifted groom from the wedding mandapa. The incident took place in the town of Sambalpur, which has been the subject of much speculation. After receiving the news of his husband Sujit Bagh’s second marriage his wife Yashoda Bagh arrived at the wedding pavilion. Sujit’s side tried to keep Yashoda out, but the argument continued for a long time. She then entered the mandapa herself and foiled her husband sujit’s second marriage.
After he informed the police, the Sambalpur Town police arrived and picked up Sujit from the mandapa and interrogated him at the police station. Yashoda and Sujit were married in a Vedic manner on March 9, 2014. They also have a son (3 years) and a daughter (7 years).
According to credible sources, Sujit has been working in a courier service for several years. His love affair with a young woman who worked there for two years began. Despite being married, Sujit hid his wife and began to develop a relationship with the young woman. But Yashoda found it out a few days later. After realizing this, she forbade Sujit but argument started between the two. Sujit kicked Yashoda out of the house as the quarrel escalated. The two have been apart ever since But in the midst of all this, he decided to marry the girl he worked with. The couple would have been married on Friday at Jhaduapada Gauramath. But Yashoda protested and Sujit went to the town police station instead of the altar. He was picked up by Town Police on a charge of attempting to remarry even having his first wife. The two divorced after questioning, police said.
