Sambalpur: Services at Burla Veterinary Centre, Hospital is open, but the doctor is on leave
Burla: A rare sight was witnessed at Burla Animal Hospital today. The gate of the medical center was open, but there was no doctor or staff to treat. As a result, many people from various farms in the city brought their sick domesticated animals for treatment. People rioted on the premises of the center due to non-availability of treatment. So Amit Kumar Das of PWD Colony brought his cow for a doctor’s consultation. Both of them were deprived of medical care due to the absence of a doctor.
However, a banner was put up in front of the medical center, which stated that all the veterinarians have gone on collective leave from today due to non-fulfillment of the demands of the state government on behalf of the Odisha Veterinary Services Association.
However, due to such a situation, it has been seen that people are facing non-existent problems. The district administration and the state government are demanding to look into this and take steps in the direction of how the services will continue in the veterinary hospital.
