Sambalpur: Shankar Meher is the winner of Mr. Sambalpur 2023 District Level Bodybuilding & Fitness Competition
Sambalpur: District Level Bodybuilding & Fitness Competition started yesterday at Chitragupta Street in Mohantypada launched by Sambalpur Bodybuilding and Fitness Association. About 50 contestants from the district participated in the competition. In the competition, Shankar Meher won the title of Mr. Sambalpur while Rakesh Naik bagged the second place, Kapil Tandi bagged the third place.
Similarly, in Men’s Physique, Vikas Kumar Patra has won the first prize, Prashant Meher won second prize and Simon Sagar won the third prize.

Nishant Bohidar, one of the co-editors of the association, District Secretary Amitabh Parida, President Satish Bishi, Dulal Chandra Rai, Bhola Mahattam, Aleem Khan, Asif Sheikh, GG Joseph, Bilal Mallik, Girish Meher, Hiralal Behera, Debashish Parida were present in the event.
Dolamani Raut, Mohammad Taslim, Bhodanath Naik, Krishna Kanta Pandey, Soumya Ranjan Pradhan, Surjit Dhali organized the program. Chinmay Prasad, Ramesh Rao, Biswa Ranjan Naik, Soumya Ranjan Mishra were major contributors.
