Sambalpur: shocking incident, Kidnapping and robbery by showing the pistol

Sambalpur: Showing weapons in the city of Sambalpur, looting has become a common occurrence. The kidnapping and robbery of a man by showing a pistol near Khetrajpur police station, Poddar colony on Wednesday came to light. within six hours of the allegations, Sambalpur police had arrested the accused. According to sources, Amit Bhalotia, 42, of Poddar Colony in Khetrajpur, was unloading his belongings from a pickup van (OD23D3583) at 12.45 pm on Wednesday. At this point a car came and hit the pickup van. As a result, the glass of the pickup was broken. Then four young men got out of the car and beat up the laborer Bandhan Chhatria. As Amit tried to stop him, the miscreants beat him up and demanded money. Later with a pistol and a knife abducted him to an oil mill in Nuapada under Ainthapali police station. There he was beaten with an iron rod, beaten with a stick, and bruised in the head. The miscreants then snatched the gold chain from Amit and looted the Rs 3,000 he had. After being kept in the oil mill for 2 hours, the miscreants left him near the house. If he told the police then he and his family would be killed, the miscreants fled the scene with threats.

After Amit lodged a written complaint with the Khetrajpur police station at 9.30 pm, the police filed a case and immediately launched an investigation into the incident. A special team was formed on the orders of SP B. Gangadhar. Khetrajpur police officer Mamata Naik, Jujumura police officer Rajkumar Biswal, SI S.K. Sahu, ASI S.K. Pradhan and cyber expert Binod Sahu started the investigation. Within 6 hours of the complaint, the police team succeeded in catching the miscreants. The culprits try to fled the district for fear of arrest, Police arrested five people near Jujumura.

The arrested accused are Shukdev Suna, 28, of Nuapada, Aithapali police station, Abdul Sajid, 37, of Dhanupali police station pensionpada, Golu Bivar (20) of Talbhatapada, Khetrajpur police station, Jabdu Chhatrapal, 20, of Milpada and Sanket Mishra (20) of Town Police Station.

Police seized the kidnapping car(OR4-15P-9314), An iron rod and Rs 1740 in cash. Of the five arrested, three were professional criminals. There are 8 cases in the police station in the name of Shukdev Suna, while there are 4 cases in the name of Sanket and Golu.
