Sambalpur: Shri Gopalakrishna Panda, an Odia pilot from Sambalpur was died in a Raipur helicopter crash
Sambalpur: One of the two pilots killed in a Raipur helicopter crash is said to be Odia. One of the dead was identified as a pilot from Sambalpur. The deceased was identified as Gopalakrishna Panda of Baham village in Sambalpur district.
Captain Gopal Krishna Panda has two children. His wife is an adjunct professor at the university.The daughter is older and the son is younger. He lived with his family in Raipur.
Captain Panda was constantly traveling by helicopter during his visit to Surajpur. Raghunandan Panda said he was a polite and polite man.
Notably, a government helicopter crashed at Raipur airport in Chhattisgarh on Thursday night. Two pilots in the helicopter were killed in the crash. They were Captain Gopalakrishna Panda and Captain AP Srivastava. Preliminary investigations revealed that the accident was caused by a technical fault. At the time of landing, the helicopter lost control and crashed to the ground. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Captain Panda is a resident of Odisha and for a few years he worked as a senior pilot in the Chhattisgarh government. Captain Srivastava is said to be a resident of Delhi.
