Sambalpur: SMC Commissioner Information, Kendriya Vidyalaya Road will be widened soon
Samalpur: Due to the large-scale eviction on the Kendriya Vidyalaya Road, there is a serious traffic problem every day and thousands of students of 4 big schools are suffering. The Metropolitan Corporation Commissioner today told the community that there are offices of the three major organizations of the state, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vikash Hospital, Vikash Faststep School, and Printing Press, Railway Colony on this road.
This road connects the main railway station of Sambalpur from the bus station and the national highway. From this road, one road connects to Budharaja through Bhim Bhoi Park while another road connects to Fatak. So there is traffic pressure on this organization. Students, residents, patients, and the general public are suffering a lot.
The Metropolitan Corporation is well aware of this problem of the people and has considered its solution with sensitivity. The Metropolitan Corporation has planned to widen this road soon. Metropolitan Commissioner Ved Bhushan has informed today that the entire department has been given the responsibility to make the road from the railway underbridge to Panchgachia Chowk wide.
It is to be noted that there is a buzz around that this road will be widened, but due to the apathy of the administration, the Metropolitan Corporation, it is not being implemented. Hundreds of students are stuck in severe traffic jams every day because of this they cannot go to school and their education is wasted. After the reaction of the people about this, the road has been measured for eviction once again today. A red line has been done on the edge of the houses that come to the road.
