Sambalpur: SP B. Gangadhar revealed that former student of VSSUT Chinmayi’s death was not a murder, death due to drowned in water

Sambalpur / Burla: SP B. Gangadhar has his own response regarding the death of Chinmayi Sahu, a former student of Burla Vssut. He told the media, Chinmayi was not murdered. Chinmayi died after drowning in water. He further said that Chinmayi Sahu’s two male friends, Preetiman Dey and Manas Tudu, who are detained in the police station, will be released today after giving a notice. Both will be called back to the police station if necessary. Therefore both of them have been ordered to stay in Burla for next 7 days.

However, even after 7 days of Chinmayi’s death, the police could not remove the curtain from the incident. In this incident, it has been reported that the police took Preetiman Dey and Manas Tudu to the scene and did a crime scene recreation. In the presence of the IG, the crime scene was recreated in the middle of the night. He gave a demo to the police about how and what happened there. Similarly, it is reported that Pritiman and Manas were subjected to a marathon interrogation at the SDPO’s office.

Chinmayi’s father Dr. Banamali Sahu said that he was not satisfied with the police investigation. There is no hope or trust in the police investigation. The police investigation seems one-sided. All kinds of ways are being opened to save the accused. Responding to the media, the father of dead Vssut student Chinmayi said. Banmali Sahu has made such allegations. Chinmayi’s mother Labang Sahu also said that it does not seem like justice is being served.
