Sambalpur: An allegation has been made in Khetrajpur police station that jewellery has been looted by giving police identity. The office at Sambalpur and the house of the manager of the wine shop dealer Baldev Sahu & Sons are located in the Dhobapada area of Khetrajpur police station. IT Raid is conducted on various places of Baldev Sahu so the culprit took advantage of this by identifying as police they commit the crime. The culprit loots the wine shop’s manager in ‘Special 26’ movie style released in 2013, starring Akshay Kumar.
According to the information, after the raid of the Income Tax Department on Wednesday, some persons introduced themselves as policemen to the manager’s house. They asked to give money and jewellery etc. So after the family members gave them lakhs of money and gold jewellery, they fled away. At that time, the manager’s mobile phone was seized by the income tax department and his family could not be contacted as he was being detained and investigated. After coming to know about the incident, the victim went to khetrajpur police station on Saturday night and lodged a complaint. The Khetrajpur police are silent in this regard.
