Sambalpur: Sri Naba Das murder case: Gopal Das’ polygraph report reveals
It was Manoj who scared Gopal, not Naba Das
Sambalpur: A new aspect has come to light today in the Naba Das murder case. Manoj Bariha, who is working as an accountant in the District Headquarters Hospital, threatened Gopal in the name of Naba Das. This is stated in the polygraph test report conducted at the Directorate of Forensic Sciences, Gandhinagar. If Manoj Bariha scared Gopal, then why was he not investigated by the crime branch, or was not interrogated as a co-accused? Regarding the incident, Mr. Bariha replied to the media and said, ‘He only had a good relationship with Gopal. In his statement to the Crime Branch, he was only asked about that much. But he will ask in court how these things came about.
No case has been filed against Manoj
During the test, he mentioned “I, Manoj Bariha, and my elder brother were having a party together. That day, Manoj told him that Naba Das had been angry with him. Manoj told him that Naba Das might be angry with him for stopping his vehicle and reprimanding his supporters. Fearing a threat to his life from Naba Das, he started planning to eliminate the health minister,” Gopal Das said during the polygraph test.
Gopal Das revealed that if he had not shot the Naba Das, then the latter would have killed him. Gopal also mentioned that he tried to kill the health minister twice before but failed.
