Sambalpur: State Government has sanctioned Rs. 56 crores 73 lakhs for the development of SMC
Sambalpur: The state government has sanctioned 56 crore 73 lakh rupees for the development of Sambalpur Metropolis Corporation and for a total of 666 projects under the Mukta scheme. It has 37 children’s sports parks, 124 urban beautification, 35 clean water, 70 parks, 44 community centers, 119 Walking tracks, 29 playgrounds, 58 public gymnasiums, 9 recreational zones, and 82 open space development projects under Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik’s 5T administrations. Sambalpur president Eng. Siddharth Das expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for sanctioning this money through the re-release plan for development in the metropolis. Mr. Das said that these projects will be carried out by the self-help groups of the respective wards. It will lead to urban development. Ms. Das informed that 5T Secretariat V.K. Pandian participated in the discussion of proposals of the Sambalpur metropolis today through video conference.
